This outstanding classic roaster icon is considered one of “The 100 Most Beautiful Cars of All Times” (London´s Daily Telegraph. March 2008) and its distinctive, slightly concave hardtop nicknamed Pagoda is part of its charm.
The Mercedes-Benz W113, which included this 280SL model, was first introduced at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show.
The 280SL design configured a rear-wheel drive and a front engine with 2,778 cubic centimeters and 180 horsepower. It is also the first Mercedes-Benz line to feature 4-speed automatic transmission on a sporting automobile.
This amazing treasure has stood the test of time and driving it never disappoints!
